Raining June was a popular alternative rock group in the Dallas – Ft. Worth metro area from 1990 until the early to mid-2000s. They often played at local bars and clubs and were known for their catchy songs and energetic live performance. They played the stages of many of the same local venues, and in the same neighborhoods that in the early ’90s saw soon-to-be-megastars such as Bush, Deftones, Presidents of the United States of America, Hum, and many others break out on the scene.
Even after the music revolution of the ’90s settled down and the airwaves made way for other genres, ’90s-style alternative rock continued to hold onto a solid and diverse fan base. Despite moving forward and experiencing the different roads life has paved for its members, Rj has done the same.
